Visitor Visa

VISITOR VISA

1. SINGLE ENTRY VISITOR VISA- B211A

This type of visa is valid for activities of:

  1. tourism;
  2. family;
  3. social;
  4. art and culture;
  5. government VISITOR;
  6. non-commercial sport;
  7. a comparative study, short course, and short training;
  8. discussing business;
  9. buying goods;
  10. giving lectures/attending a workshop;
  11. attending international exhibition;
  12. attending a meeting held by the head office or representative office in Indonesia;
  13. continuing journey to other countries;
  14. joining the mean of transport in Indonesian territory.

DURATION OF STAY

Maximum 60 days (can be extended 4 times at most, each extension granted not more than 30 days)

REQUIREMENTS

  1. valid passport with more than 6 months validity;
  2. stateless person needs travel document with more than 12 months validity;
  3. sponsor letter from sponsor except for tourism;
  4. evidence of having cost living of he/she and/or family while VISITORing Indonesia at least USD 1500 (one thousand five hundred dollars)
  5. Return ticket or ticket to continuetravelling to another country except for crew member transiting to join a ship and to continue the journey to another country; and
  6. two colored passport photo sized 4 cm x 6 cm

FEES

  1. Visa approval from the DGI (telex): IDR 200,000
  2. VISITOR VISA: USD 50

2. MULTIPLE ENTRY VISITOR VISA- D212

This type of visa is valid for activities of:

  1. family;
  2. social;
  3. art and culture;
  4. government duties;
  5. conducting business talks;
  6. purchase goods;
  7. attend seminars;
  8. take part in international exhibitions;
  9. attend meetings held with head office or representative in Indonesia; and
  10. continue traveling to other countries.

DURATION OF STAY

  1. One year, every time you stay in Indonesia for a maximum of 60 days;
  2. Five years, every time you stay in Indonesia for a maximum of 60 days

REQUIREMENTS

  1. valid passport with minimum 6 (six) years validity;
  2. stateless person needs travel document with more than 12 months validity;
  3. guarantee letter from the Guarantor;
  4. proof of having a living cost for himself and/or his family while in Indonesia, at least USD 1500 (one thousand five hundred US dollars);
  5. return ticket or continuous ticket to continue traveling to another country except for crew of transportation equipment who will stop by to join their ship and continue their journey to another country; and
  6. two colored passport photo sized 4 cm x 6 cm

3. VISA ON ARRIVAL

Because of the growing outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia temporarily SUSPENDED the Visa On Arrival policy for certain countries (see the List of Countries Eligible for Visa On Arrival menu) until further notice.

This type of visa is valid for activities of:

  1. tourism;
  2. family;
  3. social;
  4. art and culture;
  5. government duties;
  6. non-commercial sports;
  7. comparative studies, short courses, and short training;
  8. conducting business talks;
  9. purchase goods;
  10. giving lectures or attending seminars;
  11. take part in international exhibitions;
  12. attend meetings held with head office or representative in Indonesia;
  13. continue traveling to other countries; and
  14. join a conveyance that is in the Territory of Indonesia.

DURATION OF STAY

30 days (can be extended once for another 30 days)

REQUIREMENTS

  1. valid passport with minimum of 6 (six) months validity;
  2. return ticket or continuous ticket to continue the trip to another country except for the crew of transportation equipment who will stop by to join their ship and continue their journey to another country;
  3. In certain cases a VISITOR visa application upon arrival can also be submitted by a foreigner who is not from a certain country because there is no Indonesian representative in his country or a sudden or urgent activity after obtaining the approval of the appointed minister or immigration official after attaching the requirements:
    1. letter of request from the Government or private institution, and
    2. letter of approval from the Minister or appointed Immigration Officer
