Immigration Certificate

Immigration Certificate, or referred to as SKIM, is an immigration document containing information regarding the period of stay of a foreign national in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia for 5 (five) consecutive years or 10 (ten) consecutive years as one of the requirements for an application for Indonesian citizenship, either through the naturalization or submitting a declaration to become an Indonesian national.

SKIM Service Requirements for the naturalization process:

  1. Filling out the application form
  2. Submitting the original and photocopy of valid passport and permanent residence permit
  3. Submitting two recent photographs with a red background measuring 3 cm x 4 cm and 4 cm x 6 cm in size
  4. Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP)
  5. A power of attorney with a stamp duty if the application is delegated
  6. Not on the list of deterrence
  7. At the time of filing an application, subject is already residing in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia for a period of:
    1. At least 5 (five) consecutive years; or
    2. At least 10 (ten) years not consecutively.
  8. For foreign workers or the directors of the company must attach a permit to employ foreign workers, a company establishment certificate, and a company registration certificate
  9. Investors must attach the most recent certificate from the Investment Coordinating Board of Indonesia and a permanent business license
  10. Clergy must attach a letter of recommendation from the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia


SKIM Service Requirements for submitting a declaration to become an Indonesian national:

  1. Filling out the application form
  2. Submitting the original and photocopy of valid passport and permanent residence permit
  3. Submitting original and photocopy of excerpt of marriage certificate / marriage book which is valid and a letter of statement of currently in a marriage bond from the authorized institution
  4. Submitting two recent photographs with a red background measuring 3 cm x 4 cm and 4 cm x 6 cm in size
  5. A power of attorney with a stamp duty if the application is authorized
  6. Not on the list of precautions
  7. At the time of filing an application, subject is already residing in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia for a period of:
    1. At least 5 (five) consecutive years; or
    2. At least 10 (ten) years not consecutively
